Thank you for registering for Mount Carmel Summer Camps. We are looking forward to meeting you in June. Here are a few reminders and guidelines for our summer camps:
DROP OFF AND PICK UP: Please drop off and pick up campers in the Assembly Center on the Louisville Street (east) side of campus. For safety reasons, the gates will not remain open throughout camp. If you need to drop off or pick up your child once the gates have closed, please go to the administrative offices which face Robert E. Lee Boulevard.
MORNING SESSIONS/ BEFORE CARE: Morning sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. We will be available in the Assembly Center beginning at 8:00 a.m. for before-camp care. Please pick up your child by 12:00 if she is not staying for a morning session. In the event that you are running late and the gates are locked, please pick up your daughter in the administration office.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS/ AFTER CARE: The afternoon sessions begin at 1:00 pm and end at 4:00 pm. Pick up is in the Assembly Center parking lot. After-Care services are available at an additional fee until 6:00 pm. Students who are not picked up by 4:15 will be sent to after-care in the Duplantis Gym. Information about the after-care program is available on the “Forms” tab and the “Lunch and After Care” tab of the summer camp website.
LUNCH: We are excited to offer a nutritious, delicious, and affordable lunch program again this summer. Parents can elect to pre-pay for the entire week or campers can pay with cash on a daily basis. Prepaid lunch fees for Weeks 1 & 2 must be paid online by May 25 and for Weeks 3 & 4 by June 8 or on Monday mornings in person between 8:00-9:00 am in the Assembly Center.
CAMP FEES: All camp fees for the first two weeks of camp must be paid by May 25 and all fees for the last two weeks of camp must be paid in full by June 8. Payments may be made online via the payment link on the “Forms” tab of the summer camp website or by check made payment to Mount Carmel Academy. The mailing address is 7027 Milne Boulevard, New Orleans, LA. Please refer to the website for our refund policy.
OFF CAMPUS CAMPS: If your daughter is enrolled in the soccer, softball, or golf camp, please bring her directly to the off-campus field. Locations, special instructions and email addresses are included in the Off Campus Sports Camp link.
T-SHIRTS: Campers should wear comfortable, casual clothes. For those students involved in athletic camps, tennis shoes are required. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt on the first day of camp. If students wish to purchase additional shirts, they are available on the first day of camp for $12.00 each.
